Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.
Anybody else remember when Way Back Wednesdays were a thing? Because I do and today, I'm fulling embracing the vibes. When I say we're going way back, I mean we're going waaaayyyy back. This amazing property was built in 1890 and here we are, 130 years later, and it's still fantastic. Although the owner of this iconic Columbus bed & breakfast is hoping to remain open, the property is currently for sale. What do you say we get in there and take a closer look?

Who's ready to hear some good news? If you're a fan of incredible food, you'll be delighted to hear that True Food Kitchen is finally hosting their grand opening. Originally planned for April, the opening was delayed due to COVID-19. But in a couple of weeks, we'll all be rewarded for our patience. I seriously cannot wait for this. My expectations are so high but I'm pretty sure that True Food Kitchen will totally live up to them.
Christopher Radden was one of the first protesters after the killing of George Floy. What happened to him showcases exactly why he was protesting in the first place.
Talking Points โค๏ธ
Exemplary Journalism ๐ป
One of the core beliefs here at Columbus Navigator is that attention should be given to local media when they go above and beyond with investigative and/or in-depth reporting. Yesterday, we saw two impressive examples, and they both deserve your time. Two notes on these links:
1) This WOSU article is one of the most astonishing things I have read over the past few years of paying close attention to Columbus news and politics. The story of a Columbus police officer literally resigning and quickly moving his family out of town after threats to his life were made by a Columbus police sergeant (with no action taken by the department) suggests problems at CPD run deep.
2) I'm continually in awe of the student journalists at The Lantern.
