Sponsored by Columbus Children's TheatreSet in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboysβ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right! Columbus Children's Theatre will bring this beloved musical to life starting September 23. For more info, or to purchase your tickets, please click here. ππ
Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.
Tomorrow is the first day of fall, but I just couldn't take it anymore. It's my absolute favorite time of year in Central Ohio and I can't contain my excitement any longer. From apple picking and corn mazes to pumpkin patches and haunted houses, there are so many wonderful fall traditions coming up over the next two months. We're starting with one of my very favorites. I'm a sucker for any orchard, but did you know there's one that has an apple cannon? As in, a specially made cannon that shoots apples across a field?!

One of the things that makes me love this time of year the most is that I find myself frequently gathering with friends and family for different festivals and activities. It's just a cozy time of year, full of delicious food and good company. Whether you're looking for beer, pumpkins, or high fashion, there's a fall festival around for you.
