A counselor was able to talk the student down, and the article goes into the why and the how. We certainly need more people in schools like Van Chambers. [Dispatch/Bush]Columbus city schools teachers approved a final contract, avoiding a strike situation that has been looming. The teacher's union vote percentage for approval was the lowest in decades, however, and the union took a vote of no confidence for every member of the school board.
