👍 These Unique Summer Experiences Will Get You Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Sponsored by Greater Columbus Arts Council With more than 225 exhibiting artists at the Columbus Arts Festival, presented by the American Electric Power Foundation and produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), there is certainly plenty to see June 9-11 on the riverfront, but there is also plenty to do. The Festival offers interactive opportunities for people of all ages and skill-sets to create, observe, explore and learn. You can learn more about the festival and start planning your visit by heading over to columbusartsfestival.org. 🎨

Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.

Wednesday seems like the perfect day to talk about how easy it is to fall into the same old routines. Whether you're focused on work, school, your family, or any of the other myriad of problems we all face on a daily basis, finding yourself stuck in a rut is no way to start the summer. If you've been needing a sort of reset when it comes to your point of view, you might consider shaking things up a little bit and trying something new.

If you're a long-time subscriber, you'll probably remember that we used to have our offices at The Fort. It's one of my favorite places in all of Columbus and it's such a testament to how important it is to restore old buildings instead of tearing them down. If you've ever wanted to see the place for yourself, then you've got weekend plans at The Fort's new festival, Steelton Junction.

The drive-in theatre was the summer social hub for a generation. Dive in as we take a look back at some of Columbus' most iconic spots.
