Around Town ๐Ÿ˜Have you tried Stauf's new breakfast menu yet? Breakfast With Nick has a review plus photos - the breakfast sandwich looks particularly delicious. [Breakfast With Nick] ๐ŸฅžCash welfare assistance in Ohio added work requirements in recent years, leading to a nearly 50% decline in the number of people being helped since 2011. Only 22 out of 100 families with children who are in poverty now receive help, and because of this Ohio is now sitting on $570.7 million in unused TANF funds.  70 mayors in Appalachian Ohio saw this and asked for $12 million to help their constituents avoid water shutoffs and to purchase essentials like diapers and medicine. The ask was declined, and they were instead promised $500k from a different grant program. The $570.7 million will apparently be going to childcare facilities, often located in wealthier areas, that meet state mandated improvement requirements.
