How to spend the perfect day in Yellow Springs 🍦🐮🎨

Columbus Navigator Logo

Welcome to Wednesday. It's James.

We know Columbus is the best place to live in Ohio for a variety of reasons, but an underrated one is its centrality that allows the rest of the state to be within day trip driving distance.

The best day trip from Columbus? A very good argument can be made for Yellow Springs.

Free healthy food, in a normal grocery style setting. [Breakfast With Nick]An intermediate step when a political body feels pressured is half measures and band-aids, and Columbus City Council looks to have reached that step when it comes to restructuring. It's putting it's own ballot initiative on the primary ballot this May that will see the Council expanded from 7 to 9 seats, will require some council members to live in certain districts, but will still be elected city wide. This is nowhere near as far as a recent attempted ballot measure wanted to go, but that one was turned down by City Council and subsequently saw a lawsuit filed against Council on Monday. [WOSU/Brown]The Columbus Zoo has a new cat scan, and the first patient to go through it was an African lion. Their cat scan scanned a ... cat. Anyway, it is definitely worth the click to see a picture of a 14 year old lion getting a cat scan. [NBC4]
