Summer concert announcements: Ohio State Fair Concert Series + Beyoncé & JAY-Z 🎹🎤🎵🎸

Columbus Navigator Logo

Hello Wednesday. It's James.

There's snow on the ground, but who cares, right? Let's talk this summer's State Fair.

The 2018 Ohio State Fair concert line-up was announced on Tuesday, and like usual, there's something for nearly everyone, so long as you're into nostalgia. Or, uh, Kidz Bop.

Anyway, a Styx/Cheap Trick double billing might sound too good to possibly be true, but no!. Not when it comes to our Ohio State Fair. So get out your calendars and get ready to block off some summer nights.

Wednesday Weather 🌡You'll be waking up to snow and potentially rough road conditions, and more snow will be expected throughout the morning, stopping around 2pm. High of 35, and total snow accumulation of 2-5". ❄️

Navigator Originals ✏️Beyoncé And Jay-Z Will Play The Largest Stadium On Their Tour Here In ColumbusIn more concert news, it looked like Beyonce and Jay-Z were going to give Columbus a miss and only hit Cleveland on their upcoming tour, but it looks like that was a fake out. They'll be coming to Ohio Stadium in August, and pre-sale tickets go on sale today.North Market Says ‘So Long’ To Styrofoam And ‘Hello’ To A Sustainable FutureThis has been overdue - it has always felt a little weird going to a place like North Market and receiving your order in styrofoam. Not really the vibe I think anyone was looking for, from vendors to customers, but thankfully those days will soon be over.Ready Player One Offers A Glimpse Of The Columbus SkylineThe internet seems super divided over the prospects of Ready Player One (I'm hoping Spielberg can elevate the material, because it does need some elevating), but however it turns out it's cool that the story is set in Columbus of the future. A Reddit user took a screenshot of the skyline which looks sort of familiar.
