Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.
I've always been a big fan of mysteries and I'm not ashamed to admit that I fall into the category of people who obsessively listen to true crime podcasts. The thing is, I know I'm not the only one. I tend to think of these unsolved cases and mysteries as being far removed from Columbus, but the truth is, we've got some pretty compelling stories that deserve to be explored.

I would do anything for you guys, and that includes sitting through
Forever In My Heart
, a Hallmark movie about a Columbus girl who has to choose between corporate life here in Ohio and charming countryside life in Ireland. It was exactly as cheesy as you're imagining and it was sort of like passing by a bad wreck on the freeway: I knew I shouldn't keep watching, but I couldn't stop.

Nothing cures rainy-day blues in Columbus quite like a fluffy, delicious waffle. If you're trying to channel your inner Leslie Knope, here's where you can find the best waffles in the city.

COVID-19 Round-Up π
128 polling locations are being
in Ohio for next Tuesday's primary, due to concerns over COVID-19 spread (side note: this helps explain why the elderly vote is always so strong, it helps when you can vote from home) ..... the Columbus Crew announced
will be played with spectators, and the Columbus Blue Jackets
Governor DeWine's
that indoor sporting events be played with no fans present ..... nearly every university in the state of Ohio has suspended face-to-face instruction for various lengths of time, including Akron, Kent State, Ohio, Cincinnati, Miami, and more ..... Dublin has canceled St. Patrick's Day celebrations and
of their new pedestrian bridge ..... the latest
..... the latest
.
Off The Beaten Path π³
... is where we should probably be looking for things to do if we're going to be practicing social distancing for the next little bit, and this list is a good start (for various degrees of off the beaten path) for those with kids.

The Worst πΈ
Raise your hand if you ever received a speeding ticket in New Rome. The story of a three-block stretch of W. Broad St. that received national attention for one of the most brutal speed traps in America is so wild you probably won't believe what you're reading if you've moved to Columbus since the community was dissolved in 2004. From the Columbus Monthly archives, a great read on a truly nutty piece of Columbus history:

Have you noticed the giant full moon this week? It's a supermoon, the first of four this year. Supermoons occur when full moons
