Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.

I know we're getting spoiled by this Spring-like weather, but I can't help it. I've got the itch to explore and I found the perfect place to check out: Shale Hollow Park. The park is full of amazing places to explore and it allows for a more "off the path" park experience. There's a great natural play area for kids and plenty of interesting things for adults to explore, including some pretty incredible rock formations called concretions. I can't wait until it's warm enough to do a little splashing around in the creek.

I love summer, I love patios, and I love bourbon, so I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty excited about this place. I was sad to see Balboa close but I'm excited that the owners are trying something new in the space. The bar has got a great patio and it would be a shame for it not to be hosting people for summer cocktails.

I was a massive fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, and it makes me so happy to know that something that was truly so joyful for 90s kids was born right here in Columbus. Don't say we never did anything nice for anyone!

I consider spring and fall to be sunset seasons. (At least, for spring, when it's not raining.) This shot from some central Ohio railroad tracks is all the proof we need. The time change coming this weekend will make evening sunsets even more convenient. 🌀
