Columbus used to be a hub for one of the biggest circuses in the entire country. From ornate carved carts drawn by horses to full blown parades down high street on elephants, the Sells Brothers Circus was a power house of entertainment here in Columbus in the late 1800s. There was even a whole area in town called Sellsville where many of the circus workers lived in the off season. It’s hard to imagine elephants on High Street, but lucky for you, you don’t have to imagine! You can check out the story below and see the photos for yourself!
