When the weather is nice, it's hard not to be in love with summer in Columbus. There are so many nice places here to curl up and enjoy a gentle breeze and some sunshine. But one thing I've never done is tie up a hammock. Tess went on a serious adventure, some of it in insane heat, exploring the best spots to chill out around the city. I love a good mural. Really, I'm a fan of most public art. They're eye-catching, they make great backdrops for Instagram photos, and they show a level of thoughtfulness, care, and expression within a community. This new one in the Hilltop is pretty amazing!

The Passage of House Bill 6 ⚑️

The Ohio Legislature has passed HB6 by a vote of 51-36 that included a bunch of drama,

, and Republicans and Democrats both voting against it. The bill will see your utility bill increase in multiple ways, including $1.50 per month to subsidize coal plants that would have shut down otherwise. Most of the rest of the funds raised ($150 million) will go to bail out two nuclear plants in northern Ohio owned by FirstEnergy.
