Hello, Wednesday! Chelsea here.

In the summer of 1986, a hot air balloon festival decided to feature more than just hot air balloons by releasing hundreds of thousands of helium-filled balloons on the city’s west side. Just a few months later, three times the amount of balloons from the Columbus event would be released over Cleveland. I guess we should just call 1986 the year of the balloon here in Ohio. While the events were exciting at the time, there were certainly unintended consequences, one of which was balloons from both events ending up all the way in Canada.
