Happy July! Chelsea here.

2020 has been a wild ride so far, but good news, we're over halfway through it. Since we're starting off a new month, I thought I'd round up all of the fun things happening around Columbus in July. As our COVID-19 case numbers begin to creep back up, it's more important now than ever to practice social distancing guidelines, wash your hands frequently, and wear a mask when you're out in public.

Speaking of super cool events... Butch Bando's Fantasy of Lights has teamed up with the City of Westerville to have a fantastic, Independence Day themed light show. I'm over fireworks, in general, this summer, so this sounds like the perfect way to celebrate.

I'm not going to lie, if they had Storybook Trails when I was a kid, I never would have left the state parks. This sounds so cool and I can't wait to hear all about your adventures on the trail at Alum Creek.

All of these little babes are so precious, but seriously, have you ever seen anything cuter than the Red Panda twins? So. Adorable.

An Arrival ๐ŸŒบ

It's a very good time to visit Franklin Park Conservatory, as an

College football is still on track for fall, but recent infections are worrying the leadership of some sports that are planning on coming back soon. NBA commissioner Adam Silver

that coronavirus spread could still prevent the NBA's plan to begin play at the end of this month. I'm sure Ohio State will be following closely this month as MLS, MLB, the NHL, and the NBA all resume play. Fingers crossed. ๐Ÿˆ
