Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.

I don't think it's a secret that I have a little bit of an obsession with old houses and buildings. I live in a historic neighborhood in a house that's over 100 years old, so I have a daily reminder of how things were built back in the day. But my cozy little Merion Village home pales in comparison to the former palatial mansions downtown. Today, we're taking a look at the Clinton DeWeese Firestone Mansion, which was pretty freaking impressive. We really have to stop tearing down cool stuff in this city. This is the first of a series, so if you have a favorite forgotten mansion, hit reply send it our way.

Okay, everyone, it's time to celebrate one of the best National Days ever: National Carrot Cake Day. Words cannot express my deep love of carrot cake and I love that this day comes in February. Get cozy and curl up with a good book and a slice of carrot cake from one of these delicious eateries.

Next-gen body cameras are coming in 2021, but until then, here’s a closer look at how the current body cameras at the Columbus Division of Police are meant to function.
