Happy Wednesday! Chelsea here.

We're halfway through another week of work, which seems like a great time to daydream about a weekend getaway. If you've been itching to get out and explore, you're not the only one. There are so many fun spots to check out around Ohio, that you don't even have to go far to have a fantastic experience. You can definitely stay in a hotel if that's what you're into, but there are also some pretty rad Airbnb rentals that are worth checking out. We've rounded up some of our favorites. I'm going to leave you with a little spoiler: the view from that Cincinnati OTE rental is absolutely divine.

When they first announced the new downtown stadium for Columbus Crew SC, they also announced a training facility and community park at the current location. Now, we finally have an idea of exactly what that will look like, and it's fantastic.

Bexley librarian Leann Schneider Webb appeared on Kelly Clarkson's talk show this week for a segment where she was able to talk to Amy Poehler about her love for Poehler's

Parks and Rec

character Leslie Knope. Schneider Webb also took the opportunity to talk up Columbus area libraries in a segment that is honestly pretty delightful. Clarkson already had a camera crew in the area for the

The city of Columbus has settled a lawsuit with former Kahoots dancers who say they were arrested

. Sokol worked as a club host while also serving as a police informant. The bill for Columbus taxpayers? $185,000.

Wow 🔥

I love Columbus Monthly's recent efforts at highlighting wild articles from their archives so much that I have to hold myself back from linking them multiple times a week. I try to keep it to the absolute craziest pieces of Columbus history, and this tale of a Franklin County municipal judge who framed a lover for a Buckeye Lake fire absolutely qualifies.

I love that there are countless different ways to frame the Scioto Mile and Leveque Tower, all of them beautiful.
