The 7 best places to get mac and cheese in Columbus ๐Ÿง€

Columbus Navigator Logo

Welcome to Wednesday. It's James.

I think when Chelsea pitched this article the idea was to highlight a classic comfort food during the cold, bitter days of February.

So much for that, yeah?

Nonetheless, mac and cheese is good, and it's good all the time, so hopefully you'll still enjoy this list of Columbus mac and cheese hotspots during the balmy weather we're experiencing.

Navigator Originals โœ๏ธTake A Trip To Mars At Columbus College Of Art & Design ๐Ÿš€You have through Sunday to experience this very cool Mars exhibit at CCAD. It was designed by industrial design students and is 100% worth a trip if you're into space.Radiohead Is Only Playing 16 Shows On Their Upcoming North American Tour And Columbus Is One Of Them ๐ŸŽธThis won't be of interest to everyone, but it's big news for those who'll care: Radiohead is touring this year and somehow 1/8th of the North American tour will take place in Ohio, including a date in Columbus at the Schott. Tickets will go on sale February 23rd. You have to love the simplicity of the announcement and of the ticket sales. No pre-sale, no fan club pre-pre-sale, no early access VIP mailing fan club list pre-pre-pre sale, just a one sentence announcement three days before the tickets are up for grabs. Love it.

Around Town ๐Ÿ˜"People choosing to live in their cars to save money" is a journalistic story trope that I have mostly seen coming out of extreme real estate situations like California, but maybe we've now reached that level here in Columbus? The Dispatch profiles a Columbus State adjunct who has chosen to live in a van instead of paying rent, largely as a decision to help pay off $42,000 in student loans. Is this a canary in the coal mine situation for rising housing costs, or one eccentric person making a decision to participate in #vanlife even though they could probably find an apartment? [Dispatch/Ferenchik]Columbus Underground has rounded up some experts to look at potential Crew stadium landing spots. Long story short, nobody really likes Berliner as a stadium site, they think the current location could work with extensive adjacent development, and access to transit is cited as being important. It's an interesting conversation that I'm not sure reflects the reality of what's under consideration. It's difficult to envision a scenario where Precourt decides to stay in Columbus but doesn't end up in Franklinton or the Arena District.  Other sites seem like non-starters (although it's interesting how the Abbott site keeps popping up.). [CU/Warren]An Ohio man is living the dream (ok, my dream) and recently set a record for most consecutive days eating Chipotle. It took 428 days of eating at the restaurant to set the record, all documented via the most boring Instagram account in the world.  [NBC4]
