The 22 best Columbus lunch spots ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”

Columbus Navigator Logo

Welcome to Wednesday. It's James.

It's more than a little ridiculous how tough it can be to decide where to grab lunch. Whether you are with friends, co-workers, a spouse or significant other - it's always a challenge to find a consensus, and so easy to fall into a rut and go to the same place you've already been to 27 times this year.

Our solution? Power your way through this list, starting with the places that are new to you. And when you do, tag us on Instagram (#columbusnavigator) and let us know, because we live for that kind of thing.

Republican Troy Balderson looks to have won the special election for Ohio's 12th Congressional District, but Republicans can't be thrilled when viewing the result as a harbringer of what's to come in November. The result was a +10% Democratic swing when compared to 2016 presidential results for the district, and a +36% swing when compared to the 2016 House results. Balderson and Oโ€™Connor will face off again in just three months.

Air quality in Columbus isn't fantastic, something you might have noticed this summer, with an air quality alert last weekend, and multiple days where Franklin County has violated national air-quality standards. The EPA recently gave Columbus three years to meet 2015 ozone standards which recently became effective, which will mean some sort of plan being constructed and implemented by the Columbus metro area. This article also discusses the difficulty children face going back to school so early and facing viruses as well as the increased ozone, reinforcing my belief we'd all be a lot better off if kids went back to school after Labor Day.

A Columbus high school has materialized out of thin air with a nationally daunting high school football schedule, and nobody knows what's going on or who they are.
