The best dog friendly patios in Columbus 🐶🐕🐩

Sanity recently prevailed with Ohio legislators officially making it legal to have dogs on restaurant and bar patios. Many didn't know it was illegal before, but no matter, the important thing is dogs are back on the right side of the law and can stop living lives of crime.

We thought this news was a perfect opportunity to check out the best dog friendly patios around Columbus.

Ohio State has a new tailgate service option for people who don't like having to do the planning or heavy lifting. IMG’s Tailgate Club will set up a tent, provide catering, entertainment options, and a concierge, as well as clean up. Assuming you can round up 10, 20, or 40 people, the pricing really isn't too bad on a per-person basis.

An Ohio State sociology researcher released a study finding that black male youth in Columbus feel a variable level of safety depending on the racial makeup of their location. The process and conclusions are worth a full read.

Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein released a statement giving the green light, for now at least, to electric scooter rentals in the city, saying they are legal to ride, both in the street and on the sidewalk.

Columbus Metro Parks quickly put a stop to chatter from the Columbus Dispatch that Three Creeks Metro Park could be the future site of Rock on the Range, releasing a statement saying that "Metro Parks does not believe that hosting Rock on the Range within one of the Metro Parks is consistent with our mission and the park commissioners will actively oppose any such efforts."
