Ready to see the art of Columbus through someone else’s eyes? The Painting Promise tour was curated by April Sunami, who had this to say about the tour: “These murals not only nourish my soul but also bring me immense joy. Located in community-centric spaces and adorned with vibrant colors, these artworks evoke a sense of happiness, inspire hope for the future, cultivate peace, and elevate my mood every time I lay eyes on them. I hope they have a similar uplifting effect on you.” For more info, head over to columbusmakesart.com.
Hello, Wednesday! Chelsea here.
We’ve made it halfway through the week, friends! Normally I don’t celebrate Wednesdays, but this week has been a bit of a wild one for me personally. It’s just that time of year when things start to get super busy. That means I’ll have to find time somewhere to visit one of my favorite bars in the city before they close. I hate saying goodbye to local businesses, especially ones that make such incredible drinks. After more than a decade, this craft cocktail spot is closing up shop. The decision to close comes not from a lack of success but due to the non-renewal of their lease to make way for new development in the area.
