Hello, April! Chelsea here.
I've never really been a big fan of April Fools' Day and if I'm being honest, I'm sort of glad that people aren't into celebrating it this year. Am I the only one? I doubt it. What I am excited to celebrate are all of our local restaurants that are doing everything they can to provide delicious meals to all of us during this stressful time. I'm sick of cooking, but I'm also really sick of doing dishes, so you can bet that I'll be relaxing and ordering off one of these menus tonight. Consider it a "Welcome to April" treat.

Ohio In Bloom ๐ธ
I'm watching the ODNR wildflower bloom report super intently because it's just the kind of thing I need in a year like 2020. Snow trillium and goldenstar lily this week! Matching up hiking plans with these reports is a Columbus Navigator approved strategy for dealing with quarantine.

My heart is with everyone having to pay rent or a mortgage today in the middle of a pandemic that has seen 1/3rd of workers laid off or furloughed. It just doesn't make sense to me not to freeze housing (for everyone, landlords/companies with mortgages too) until things are back to normal, and I can't imagine the devastation we're looking at this month, let alone in May and every month this goes on. Alive has a look at the situation and spoke to experts who gave insight into best practices for every situation.
