🏟️ Columbus Once Had A Wooden “Murderdrome” And It Was Wild
Did you know Columbus once had its very own wooden racetrack? In 1912, the city became the center of America’s most dangerous motorsport. Early motorcyclists would fly around these tracks, known as motordromes, nearing 100 mph, all while on an insane incline. And yes, it’s just as dangerous as it sounds. Hence, the nickname.
⚖️ This Sleepy Town Was The Site Of The Only Witch Trial In Ohio
Ohio once had its own brush with witch hysteria. In 1805, a small-town drama unfolded in Bethel, where neighbors tried to turn superstition into justice.
