When will the leaves change in Columbus? We've got answers. πŸπŸ‚πŸ˜

Happy Tuesday, people. It's Chelsea.

Every day is starting to feel more and more like fall. Before we know it, the leaves will be changing, bringing vibrant colors to Ohio's countryside. If you're going on a trip specifically to enjoy that nature, like the scenic drives we mentioned yesterday, then you'll want to take a look at this. Thanks to Smoky Mountains National Park, there is an interactive map you can check to know exactly when the fall foliage will start changing. I love fall and I love planning, so this could be one of my new favorite things to use.

The Greater Columbus Arts Council has released the final details of their proposal regarding a 7% ticket tax aimed at supporting the arts. Here's everything you need to know about it.

The 2018 election is creeping up pretty quickly, so now is as good a time as any to familiarize yourself with upcoming issues, including a new levy to benefit the Columbus & Franklin County Metro Parks.

When I think of words to describe my alma mater, "beautiful" doesn't even come close to the top of the list. But around Columbus and it's suburbs, you'll find some of the most stunning school buildings in the state.

But for real though... when is Columbus going to get something this awesome? This nearly 15-story observation wheel will be in Cincy until December, so at least it's only a short road trip away for now.

Lakes and Lattes takes on a haunted inn in Granville, one of my favorite small towns near Columbus. This place would be a fun weekend getaway. [Lakes and Lattes] πŸ¨Loving this nostalgic look at the downtown Lazarus. All the photos are clickable so you can view larger. [The Department Store Museum] πŸ›Les Wexner, perhaps the most prominent local Republican (non-politician division) has renounced his ties to the party, saying "I’m an Independent. I won’t support this nonsense in the Republican Party." It may not come as a surprise that this comment came during a panel on civility (and the "Columbus Way").  [Columbus CEO] πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

A London auction coming up September 20th is filled with rare Hollywood memorabilia including the hat worn by Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the jacket worn by Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back, a stormtrooper helmet from the first film, and much, much more. My favorite item might be Marty McFly's hoverboard from Back to the Future II.(h/t) KottkeProp Store Auction: The Listing
