It’s October, so even though I’d rather not, we’ve got to talk about Haunted Houses. I don’t mind a chilling story or a spooky podcast. I’ll even sit through a scary movie. But I absolutely hate jump scares and even though you’ll frequently find me laughing my way through them, I’m actually just trying not to cry. In fact, there’s video evidence in our featured story of me visiting a haunted house here in Columbus a few years back, and I’m confident you’ll see the fear in my eyes. That said, I did end up having fun, and I would encourage you to finally give in when your best friends invite you to one this month. The fear is temporary, but the memories and the laughs are forever.
