Instead of saying “boo,” I think the ghosts are saying “brr” today! It’s a very chilly Halloween and I can’t help but feel bad for all of the little kiddos who will definitely have to wear their coats under their costumes. If you’re handing out candy this year, maybe reward them with a little extra for bravery! 🇺🇸 One Ohio Senator is taking a stance on the ballot question aiming to legalize recreational marijuana in Ohio, while the other is remaining silent on the issue. Senator Sherrod Brown announced late last week after voting early that he voted "yes" on both Issues 1 and 2. (WOSU)

🎓 Over $1 million is headed to the Columbus Promise Program, a program that takes graduating Columbus school students and offers them a free education at Columbus State. Once enrolled, they have tuition and fees covered, and even receive an extra stipend for books. (NBC4)

🪦 Otterbein Cemetery, nestled in Ohio's Perry County, seems ordinary, but it's home to Mary Henry's gravestone. The gravestone stands out for its mysterious rust-colored horseshoe-shaped mark on the back, a distinctive feature in an otherwise unassuming cemetery. (Ohio History)
