Tonight! Columbus State is hosting an hour-long virtual broadcast of Taste the Future: Reimagined. The event will celebrate and support the students, partners, and resilient central Ohio community. You're invited to cook and sip along with this virtual event, which will feature local chefs from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, Blend Bakery & Cafe, Degrees Restaurant, and Barcelona Restaurant. It's not just a regular Tuesday today, friends. It's National Dessert Day. We're the luckiest because we live in Columbus and this city is full of incredible treats that we can eat while we celebrate. To be honest, trick-or-treat seems like an unnecessary risk to me this year. I love handing out candy to the kids and seeing my nieces and nephews all dressed up in their costumes, but I know that there will be other Halloweens where it's safer to celebrate traditionally. That being said, communities around Columbus are still hosting festivities and we've got the dates and times right here. We've also pulled together some info about how you can have the safest Halloween possible, with tips from Franklin County Public Health, the Ohio Department of Health, and the CDC.
