We’ve arrived at Election Day, my friends. If you’ve already voted, you can sit back and (attempt to) relax. If you’re voting today, make sure you have a plan! We’ve got an Election Day FAQ for you, but before we dive into that, I want to talk about our city’s newest park. Warner Woods is officially open, and it’s incredible. From boardwalk strolls to pickleball courts to trailside lounge chairs, it’s a fantastic new addition to our city park system.

🍴 The Oldest Restaurant In Ohio Has Served 12 Presidents Over The Course Of Two Centuries
It seems fitting that we take a look back at the oldest restaurant here in Ohio. It’s been around for centuries and has hosted all kinds of interesting guests, including several presidents!

🚓 A Franklin County jury found former Columbus police officer Adam Coy guilty on charges of murder, reckless homicide, and felonious assault. Coy shot and killed Andre Hill, an unarmed Black man, in December of 2020. (WOSU)
🎻 The Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s proposed music hall has stirred both excitement and curiosity. Announced in February 2024, the plan envisions a beautifully designed space with incredible acoustics, though some wonder how it will support the broader arts community. (Columbus Monthly)
🏈 Ohio State’s game against Northwestern on Nov. 16 will kick off at noon, but it won’t be held in Northwestern’s Ryan Field. The game will take place at Wrigley Field in Chicago, due to a new stadium being built at Northwestern. (Dispatch)

🚂 There have been three iterations of Union Station and all three served railroad passengers, from regular people to presidents, in Columbus from 1851 until 1977. This arch, located at McPherson Commons, is one of the last remnants of the station.
