The 13 best holiday shows and concerts coming to Columbus πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Hello Tuesday. It's James.

One of the things that Columbus has going for it the most is that it naturally feels like home. It's not something we have to strive for or artificially create. The midwest is where the archetypal American is from. This is a place to settle in and (say it with me, you've heard it a million times) it's one of the best places in America to raise a family.

One important reason for this is that we do traditions well. Outside of fall Saturdays at Ohio State, you see this the most during the holidays. You might have long standing central Ohio family holiday traditions, or perhaps you're creating new traditions for yourself. Either way I think you'll find this list of the best holiday shows and concerts in Columbus helpful. It's a tumultuous world right now, and holding on to this sort of annual ritual is more important than ever.

Tuesday Weather 🌑47, starts cloudy, becomes sunnier as day goes on. ⛅️

Navigator Originals βœοΈNationwide Realty Needs To Offer Arena District Land To Save The CrewBrewDog has stepped up in a major way, meeting with the Mayor and making their interest in buying the team (and selling half back to the fans) known. Now it's time to find land for a new downtown stadium.Taylor Swift Is Coming To Columbus In JulyThe ticket process is convoluted and involves registering for the opportunity to possibly be allowed to buy tickets, so if you are a fan (or are thinking of gifting tickets to someone who is a fan) you should look into it now. Pre-registration(?!) is open until November 28th.This Secluded 8,000 Sq. Ft. Waterfront Dublin Home Has It’s Own Ravine… And A Saltwater PoolA thing about central Ohio mansions is that they are often incredibly tacky. That is decidedly not the case with this Dublin home. I don't know what one does with 8,000 sq ft, but it's a beautiful home with incredible outdoor space. The Guernsey County Courthouse Is Totally Winning At ChristmasGuernsey county is a bit of a drive from Columbus, but their courthouse light display might make it worth it if you're a Christmas lights nerd. (And if that describes you, just wait: we are cooking up something special for you in the next couple of days.)

Around Town 🏘Whitehall is booming. Property values are up more than almost anywhere else in Central Ohio (but it's still affordable), new businesses are sprouting, jobs are being created, and the school district boasts all new buildings. Could Whitehall surprisingly be the best real estate value in Central Ohio? [Dispatch/Neese, Gilchrist]The Buckeyes will be wearing all white alternate jerseys against Michigan in two weeks. I love them, but alternates are often polarizing. [Eleven Warriors]Senator Portman and Governor Kasich have disavowed Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore (who has been accused by five women, some as young as 14, of sexual misconduct), but one prominent Ohio Republican has been silent. Senate candidate and State Treasurer Josh Mandel has refused to discuss the matter. Mandel has aligned himself with the right most portion of the Republican party, a segment that has been supportive of Moore, presumably making the situation awkward for Mandel. [News5 Cleveland]
