How To Take The Perfect Self-Isolation Vacation In Hocking Hills 🌲

Hello, Tuesday! Chelsea here.

Ohio may be slowly reopening, but we're still practicing social distancing, which means summer getaways may seem like an unrealistic dream. But I'm here, as always, to help make your dreams come true. Cabins throughout Hocking Hills have reopened (with additional sanitization protocols) and that means that your perfect self-isolation vacation awaits. If you'd like to get out of Columbus for a little bit, we've got all the details on planning your trip to Hocking Hills here.

Life during coronavirus has the potential to get a little repetitive, so I'm always excited to be sharing new things on the horizon with you all. Ray Ray's Hog Pit is one of my favorite barbecue spots in Columbus, and they're opening a brand new location in a couple of weeks up in Powell. Trust me, it's worth getting excited about.

The Gambler 🏈

There once was an all-world Ohio State quarterback who ascended to the NFL and then lost it all to compulsive gambling, and, eventually, crime. If you're somewhat new to Columbus, too young to know the story, or just want a compulsively readable blast from the past, this article from Columbus Monthly's archives on the rise and fall of Art Schlichter is a fascinating read.
