Hello, Tuesday! Chelsea here.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I don't know about you guys, but I could really get used to this sunshine. It may not officially be summer, but this weekend certainly felt like the kick-off to me. I thought we'd jump back in this week by checking out a beautiful German Village home. It's stunning yet simple, and it looks like it's straight off of HGTV. I know you're itching to take a closer look, so go ahead and click. I won't stop you!

I haven't been this excited about something at the zoo since the polar bears arrived, friends. The newest area of the zoo, Adventure Cove, is now home to some California sea lions and harbor seals and they are so stinking cute that I can barely handle it. I can't wait until we can all head to the zoo to check them out in person, but these photos will have to do for now.

ODNR announced that certain trails at Hocking Hills would be reopening in mid-June to accommodate social distancing. The news comes as cases in Ohio continue to climb and more and more residents are looking for safe, outdoor activities this summer.

150 Strange Years ๐ŸŽก

Unfortunately, there will be no state fair for 2020, but this article from the Columbus Monthly archives is a fun look at some of the more bizarre events that have taken place over 150 years of fair fun. My favorite new fact? I had no idea that the Ohio State Fair billed itself as the world's largest for many years, before an audit put a stop to the attendance inflation.
