🏗 The Westland Mall Site Is Undergoing A Massive Transformation
Sponsored by Greater Columbus Arts CouncilArt Spot is a series of temporary public art installations that explore themes around climate change and conservation. Featuring 14 artists, 13 installations, and nine locations in and around downtown Columbus, Art Spot installations will be on view 24/7 in the windows of partner businesses and nonprofits through June 30, 2023. It's always nice to see an area come back to life, and I feel like that's especially true for Westland Mall. I grew up on that side of town and the mall was a massive part of the lives of many a teenager back in the day. It's exciting to imagine that instead of being a space that just rots away, the site is getting a chance at revitalization.
