Happy Tuesday. Chelsea here.

When you're experiencing moments in history like we are now, it doesn't take much to feel overwhelmed. But there are many ways we can all help be a part of the change that this country so desperately needs. Black lives matter and one of the easiest ways to show your solidarity is by supporting local, black-owned businesses. We'll be updating this list so if you'd like to suggest a business, just hit reply!

Everything isn't okay right now, but it can be if we all keep fighting to make the world a fairer and more just place. These little reminders are there to show us glimmers of hope during a dark time.

Talking Points ❤️

An Ending ❤️

I had someone ask me yesterday what protestors want, as in, what would be a satisfactory result that would allow the protests to stop for now. I don't think there's a simple answer to that because the protests are made up of many human beings who may have slightly different goals, but this list is a good summary. It may read as surprising to some, simply because most of the items on it aren't partisan or controversial.

In addition to the above, some, including Stonewall Columbus, are now also calling for the resignation of Police Chief Quinlan following the often

Journalists Targeted 📰

Journalists are exempt from the citywide curfew, but that didn't stop Columbus police from pepper-spraying student journalists from Ohio State's newspaper The Lantern. Hopefully, this is the last time I have to write these words for a while, but for the second day in a row, be warned, you may find this article and video upsetting.

Columbus Donut Week

Columbus Donut Week is a week-long city-wide celebration of the donuts of Columbus and the people who make them, sponsored by Pure Equity Group. It takes place the week of national donut day (June 1-7) and this year we are excited to support Service! Relief Kitchen. For more details click here! 🍩🍩

It's hard to know what to say right now, about so many things, but I appreciate that CAPA and the Ohio Theatre married the MLK quote to the Les Mis quote below because I do believe the night will end, but only if we do the right things. Only if we push. ❤️
