Iā€™m a sucker for the great outdoors. Thatā€™s especially true if the little slice of nature youā€™re trying to convince me to visit has a body of water. Thankfully for me, one of the most exciting State Parks here in Ohio is incredibly close to Columbus. Alum Creek State Park is an outdoor adventure-loverā€™s dream. Itā€™s got a massive area for boating and water sports, a great dog park complete with a beach, some epic mountain biking trails, and literally sooooo much more. Itā€™s a beautiful park all year long, but summer at Alum Creek State Park is totally worth the hype. Have fun exploring!
