Summer in Ohio was made for road trips. your face has likely been run through facial recognition software run by federal agencies such as the FBI

. This was never approved by the Ohio legislature or Congress, and instead was unilaterally done by the Ohio BMV, under the authority of Mike DeWine, who was state attorney general at the time. They handed over the database again in 2016 to the FBI, despite objections from the ACLU and other watchdog groups. ICE and the DEA have the ability to search through the resulting database.
