Hello, Tuesday! Chelsea here.

I can’t believe that we’re already nearing the end of July. Before we know it, summer will be drawing to a close. I’m not trying to rush that, but there is one event happening in the second half of summer that I cannot wait for! I love animals and Asian lantern festivals, so you can imagine my excitement when I heard that both were being combined for a two-month exhibit of hand-crafted animal lanterns at the Zoo. The lanterns look incredible (seriously, how are they so pretty?) and I can’t wait to check it out when it opens.

And remember, if you’re hoping to catch some waterfalls in all their glory, visit shortly after it rains!
