I'm sure we all have to places that are special to us. You know, the restaurant where you grab a bite to eat with your friend while you vent over a breakup. Or where you meet-up to celebrate that promotion! Or where you visit when you're having a rough day and you're just looking for a pick-me-up. For myself and my best friend, that restaurant was always Michael's Goody Boy Diner. When it closed, we were heartbroken, but we didn't have to stay that way for long. The restaurant is under new management now and officially reopened this Spring with a cool new vibe and menu. I finally got around to checking it out, and boy, oh boy, was it worth the wait! 🍽

City Council Meets 💸

Columbus City Council last night voted

to reduce marijuana penalties

in the city and also

moved the North Market project along

by giving developers the land for the project at $300,000 a year in perpetuity (the land is currently valued somewhere between $4 and $9 million according to different estimates) and also committed 75% of the bed taxes from the hotel being developed on the site to be used in support of North Market.
