Happy Tuesday! Chelsea here.
One of the things I love the most about living in Columbus is that it doesn't matter how much I think I know about this place... there's always something out there, waiting to be discovered. If you've already heard about how amazing Krema Nut Company is, then feel free to put on your best hipster hat and tell me that you knew about it before it was cool. But I just found out that this little slice of heaven exists, and I'm pretty darn excited about it. I'm ready to chow down on some super authentic peanut butter sandwiches. π₯π₯

ODOT Sucks! π§
, plus
. I realize this sort of thing happens everywhere, and yet I can't help but feel it's such an Ohio thing to communicate displeasure (or religious fervor or what have you) via bizarre roadside signage.
Corporatocracy? πΈ
The Columbus Dispatch isn't a place where I normally expect to see pushback on "the Columbus Way", but Theodore Decker's latest column titled "
" surprisingly brings the heat on the issue of Columbus leaders unilaterally deciding to commandeer parking lots owned by the Ohio Expo Center.
Solar Powered Schools βοΈ
Federal Hocking Local Schools, near Athens, is now
. 1,968 solar arrays have been installed on top of the building that houses the high school and middle school. The installation will provide 70% of needed power, and the superintendent thinks its a no brainer, saying βYouβre generating cheap, clean energy ... Youβre getting an educational benefit [for] kids and youβre being a good steward of public resources. Seems to me itβs a win-win solution for everyone.β
