Have you ever wondered what Columbus looked like in years gone by? Check out these 5 nostalgic videos of the capital city. ๐๐๐
Happy Tuesday, everybody. It's Chelsea!
Downtown Columbus will always be where I feel most at home. I've loved this city through thick and thin. As downtown begins to reclaim its hustle and bustle with new apartments, new businesses, and new people, it's fun to remember what it used to look like.
Sure, we can always look through old photographs, but it's not the same. That's where these awesome videos come into play. The videos, ranging from the early 1950s to the late 1980s show Columbus as it grows and changes through the decades. You'll see all of your favorite Columbus spots, including The Shoe, German Village, The Columbus Zoo, the Ohio Statehouse, COSI, and more. Take a break from your day and take a trip down memory lane. You'll be shocked at how much has changed, and at how much has stayed the same.

Longread I'm not sure if you've heard the news yet, but it was announced that America's favorite actor will be playing America's favorite neighbor in an upcoming film. Yes, Academy Award winner Tom Hanks will be portraying Mr. Rogers in a film called, You Are My Friend. With that in mind, I thought we all might like to take a few minutes to read about how Rogers was truly an American hero, and how his kindness impacted generations in this country.
