Our Favorite Articles Of 2017 ❤️

Columbus Navigator Logo

Someone told me recently I don't talk enough about the process of starting this site, or the journey it's been. And it has been a trip, full of great moments, great people, and, inevitably, some mistakes. But I'm proud of our first year. Starting a news site like this in one of the most difficult media environments in history is a challenge, but

, we are in it for the long haul.

These pieces are 20 highlights from our first year. Most are "evergreen" - meaning they are just as relevant now as when they are written (if we had gone by raw traffic half of the top 10 would have been solar eclipse articles driven by Google searches - but that's no fun.) Enjoy, and as we do some reflecting on 2017 and look forward to 2018, feel free to hit reply if there's anything you'd like to see us covering or if you have any other suggestions. We're doing this for you.
