Downtown Columbus Could Be Getting An Elevated Park πŸŒ³

Decorative Arts From The Tsars to the USSR

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and their new exhibit Russian Decorative Arts from the Tsars to the USSR. From decades of collecting Russian decorative arts, commissioning works from USSR artists, and exploring Russia's vast territories, curator Michael Reese takes us on a visual journey through Russian history from the time of the tsars to the fall of the USSR. The exhibition paints a clear decorative picture of what it was like to live in Russia during those tumultuous times. Featured objects tell stories of wealth and poverty, political struggle, fashion, and religion. Click here for more details! πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί

Happy Tuesday! Chelsea here.

Last night unfortunately didn't go the way most of us hoped as Ohio State

, but I'm not going to let the disappointment detract from the memory of just how enjoyable the win over Clemson and Dabo Sweeney was last weekend. That fun is forever. Speaking of fun... how fun would it be to take a casual stroll along this newly proposed elevated park in Downtown Columbus? I'm genuinely obsessed and I've been wanting our own version of the New York High Line for a while now.

Can we make this our city's anthem? Please? It's so catchy and cringey, but in the best possible way.

The past 10 months have been struggle after struggle for people all across the country. Right here in Ohio, families are trying to figure out how to keep a roof over their head and their utilities turned on as we all deal with the impacts of COVID-19.
