π Lost History Of Columbus: Union Station

Sponsored by the Columbus SymphonyStarting this season, the Columbus Symphony is launching βWe are here for you,β an innovative three-year plan centered on extraordinary and meaningful service to the central Ohio community. As the Symphony works to be here for all residents of Columbus and surrounding areas, they will be focused on removing barriers, such as cost and physical location to advance our community impact. Happy Tuesday! Chelsea here.
We've lost some incredible architecture over the years here in Columbus, but there's one that hurts more than the rest. Union Station changed the way Columbus residents access public transit and its absence has absolutely been noticed since its demise in the 1970s. While I'm incredibly hopeful about the potential for the new Amtrak station, I'm still sad that I never got to see this beauty in all of its glory.
