As a 1990s kid, Nickelodeon was the prime entertainment of my youth. There was nothing like sitting down for an afternoon to laugh along to Kenan and Kell or watch endless reruns of Legends of the Hidden Temple. Nickelodeon is undeniably nostalgic, but why exactly are we talking about it in a Columbus-focused newsletter? Because this iconic television station started right here back in the 1970s. We love a good origin story, especially when it involves us.
