I know no one wants to talk about it, but the reality is, summer is almost over. The kids have probably headed back to school and before you know it, Pumpkin Spice lattes and warm jackets will be on the horizon. But before we rush it, we should all take a moment to remember the joy of our lives: our dogs. As pools start to wind down their summer season, they also get ready for the best event of the year: dog swim! It's not every day that Columbus residents get the chance to hear a legend play live. But for the lucky crowd at Project Blues review, that's exactly what happened. Eric Clapton joined the Jimmie Vaughn Trio on stage and performed four songs for the audience.

Nationwide Children's Hospital's housing efforts in Driving Park received national attention from NPR yesterday. Nationwide is looking to replicate what they have done in Southern Orchards, just south of the hospital, where homicides fell to zero last year and high school graduate rates have climbed since the hospital began buying real estate and renovating there.

A baby abandoned in a Lancaster phone booth in the 1950's has found his original family thanks to DNA testing. His grace in a difficult situation is inspiring, and the story of a 64 year old mystery is an interesting one.
