It’s hard to imagine brunch with mimosas or after-work cocktails with colleagues being illegal, but here in Ohio, that’s just how things were 100 years ago. Prohibition was a big deal here in Columbus and the surrounding suburbs, largely because of the presence of one organization: the Anti-Saloon League. Based in Westerville, the ASL was a driving force behind nationwide prohibition, changing the fabric of our entire country.
