Sports and superstition can lead to strange places. View the case of Sam Blazer, writer at First Ohio Battery who declared early in game 1 of the Blue Jackets vs. Lightning series, when the Jackets had quickly fallen behind 3-0, that "If the Blue Jackets come back to win this game, I will tattoo the

emblem on my ..." We'll let you fill in the blank, and of course you know what happened: the Blue Jackets made an incredible comeback and went on to sweep the Lightning. And so Blazer

now has a new and fairly sizeable tattoo

(not safe for work? sort of?). Side note on the Jackets: their game 4 closeout of the Lightning was the

most watched hockey game in Columbus history

A Thomas Worthington High School program that gives students face time with extremists of all kinds is one of the most interesting educational opportunities I've come across. I'm also not surprised it's controversial.
