🍸 High Bank Distillery To Open A Second Location In Gahanna

Sponsored by Short North StageDirected and Choreographed by Edward Carignan, Young Frankenstein is monstrously entertaining. The musical is an adaptation of the classic Mel Brooks movie and follows Frederick Frankenstein, the grandson to the infamous Doctor Frankenstein, as he visits the family estate in Transylvania. You laugh, you'll cry from laughing, you'll laugh some more. Young Frankenstein runs at the Garden Theater from October 7 through November 7. I've got good news for any of you living in the Gahanna/New Albany area this morning. Actually, it's good news for all of us because High Bank Distillery is opening a second location, and that's worth getting excited about no matter where you live. The renderings of the space look incredible and we already know that the food and drinks will be phenomenal. This is definitely something to look forward to in early 2022.

🏥 Senate Bill 123,

a “trigger” bill, went into a Senate committee Wednesday. A trigger bill would allow the state to ban abortion with a change in the U.S. Constitution or the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Co-sponsor state Sen. Sandra O’Brien, R-Ashtabula, was asked if the bill would protect victims' rights to an abortion in the case of rape or incest and she replied,

“No it does not, because she could always take contraception.”
