Dough Mama Is The Sweetest Little Cafe On South High Street 🥧

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center Of Ohio and their new exhibition 2+3x18: Rooted in tradition from the Byzantine, Medieval, and Renaissance eras, diptychs (two-paneled pieces) and triptychs (three-paneled pieces) have been used to tell stories through the ages. This exhibition features 18 contemporary Ohio artists who have used the diptych and triptych to create remarkable stories, some focused on personal experiences and others on a life-long interest or idea. More info right here. 👩🎨🎨
Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.
When Dough Mama announced that they'd be opening up a new location within walking distance from my house, I knew that I was about to be in very deep trouble. While I previously had only ever had their pies, I decided to give their breakfast a shot at this new location and I was not disappointed. Their newest location is charming and inviting, plus there's a nearly life-sized portrait of Dolly Parton to admire while you wait for your food. Spoiler alert: there's every chance you are going to stop what you're doing and eat at Dough Mama. They are open until 4 today, so don't mess around!

Although it's frequently called the German Village Giant Eagle, the soon-to-be-gone grocery store is actually located in Schumacher Place. The Schumacher Place Civic Association held a virtual meeting regarding the new development, and the latest renderings are here. I was hoping they'd have a bit more of that "German Village area" character, but it's still early days so I won't give up hope quite yet.
