At the dawn of a new century, everything is changing… and anything is possible. Set in turn-of-the-century New York, three distinctly American tales are woven together, united by their courage, compassion, and belief in the promise of the future. Nominated for 13 Tony Awards including Best Musical, complete with a live 9-piece orchestra and over 30 professional actors onstage, Ragtime is a beautiful and ever-relevant piece that confronts history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and what it means to live in America. Hello Thursday! Chelsea here.

Dining out in historic German Village doesn’t mean you can only find German food. Although there are some truly delicious options for that too. In general, German Village has kind of a cool, old Europe vibe and you can find everything from diners and cafes to high-end fine dining. It’s personally one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city and it’s especially charming this time of year. There’s something about the brick, tree-lined streets that just comes alive in the autumn.
