Here's How You Can Get A Bird's Eye View Of The Hocking Hills ✈️🌲

Mesmerica

Brought to you by Mesmerica, a fully immersive music and art cinematic projection show for planetariums and giant screen theaters by visionary musician James Hood. This show looks absolutely wild and it's coming to COSI beginning September 26th: buy your tickets here

Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.

Remember how I mentioned that I'm really hoping to try new things? Well, I've found a pretty dang cool new thing that I think you'll want to try too. Everybody loves the Hocking Hills. How could we not? It's beautiful and a little bit wild. The hiking is great and the local spots are amazing. But what if I told you that you could see it in a way you've never seen it before. Strap in folks, because we're heading to the skies.

That's right, friends. The kickass U.S. Women's National Team will be taking on (let's be real, defeating) Sweden at Mapfre Stadium later this fall. It's the perfect chance to cheer on the women who just keep winning.

I'm going to be honest. Even if you're not recently engaged, you should check out these photo spots. They'd also be great for family photos, senior pics, or just a nice stroll. Our city is so pretty!

Talking Points ❤️

Universal Design 🌳

This article is a few years old, but gives love to our Scioto Greenways project as a great example of accessibility in design, pointing out that the project "

replaced tall concrete retaining walls and artificial dams with a natural river's edge accessible to all. Its gently sloped, wide walkways move people on foot, by wheelchair, and on bikes a vertical distance of 23 feet to the Scioto River.

Big Change 🏗

Suburbs and towns accrue reputations over time, but what happens when things rapidly change? Whitehall is about to be a case study in public perception with huge recent changes and more to come:

Plant Life 🌱

Love this profile of one of our fave Columbus small businesses -

. Their massive living wall installations are so cool (a great recent example at the Columbus Museum of Art

), but

make fantastic gifts. (Speaking from personal experience here!)
