Happy Thursday! Chelsea here.
One of the perks of this job is that I find myself learning more and more about Columbus and our local history here every single day. From presidential sites to Underground Railroad stops, Central Ohio is full of interesting, historic homes to visit. Get out there and explore, guys. You may be surprised at what you learn.

Before COVID-19 hit, there were an estimated 12 million children living in poverty in the United States. This documentary,
Growing Up Poor In America
, follows three Ohio kids from different towns and different backgrounds as they deal with poverty and inequality, amidst a global pandemic. This is a sobering watch, but their stories deserve to be heard.

There's something so incredibly nostalgic about watching old local commercials. It's hard to imagine feeling happy to watch old YouTube ads or something in the future, but these commercials just offer such a glimpse back at how life was back in the day. I'm a big fan of the 1984 COSI ad. The haircuts alone are worth a click.
