Los Guachos Tacos al Pastor: the best in town ๐ŸŒฎ

Hello Thursday. It's James.

One thing I have learned since starting Navigator is that we have surprisingly plentiful and decent taco options in this city.

Tess might have found the best of them all at Los Guachos Taqueria . I can't even open this post without getting hungry. You're really rolling the dice unless you read it within striking distance of lunchtime.

Navigator Originals โœ๏ธThe 11 Best Restaurants In Clintonville [Wiley]Chelsea takes a look at what's become in recent years one of the hottest restaurant neighborhoods in the city. Did Anyone Else Know White Castle Had A โ€œCravers Hall Of Fameโ€ Or A Limited Edition Streetwear Collection? Yeah, Thought So [Miller]So it turns out White Castle has some extremely fashion forward employee uniforms. And a Hall of Fame. This was all news to me.Franklinton Homeless: The Elephant In The Room [Miller]Gentrification focuses on lower income residents, but as Zoey puts it, an elephant in the room is that the homeless also "reside" in some of these areas that slated to improve. The homeless situation in Columbus hasn't gotten much press in the last year that I've noticed, and it seems like an issue that gets swept under the rug when the economy is on the upswing. Some business owners in Franklinton are having a hard time with it (understandably, in certain ways) and held a meeting last night to vent and discuss potential solutions. 10 DIY Halloween Costumes For Procrastinators In Columbus [Wiley]Chelsea has 10 Columbus themed Halloween costumes, just in case you've put things off to this late date.7 Reasons My Heart Will Always Be In Columbus [Miller]Zoey looks at why he'll always love Columbus. Busy year for a 23 year old fresh out of school.Ohio Democrats Propose State Level Universal Health Care [Arney]This universal health care bill is dead in the water, it goes without saying, but it also should start a conversation. Too often, Ohio is content to let other states be innovative, and it's fair to say we have more of a problem with health care in this state than just about any other. 40% of the counties in this country that only have one health insurance provider are in Ohio, and 1.5 million Ohio residents have no insurance.

Around Town ๐Ÿ˜Anthony Precourt has decided to do at least one thing right: season ticket holders who renewed for 2018 will be able to obtain refunds should they so choose. Of course, the cynically minded could point out that empty stands in 2018 will help prove his case for moving. [WOSU]Breakfast with Nick has an updated guide to south side bakery Kolache Republic, which is something a little different and well worth checking out. [Breakfast With Nick]The new $65 million White Castle HQ was approved by the city, and renderings are available. Looks pretty lux, and will actually be mixed use, with housing, additional offices, and an amphitheater. There will also be a rooftop garden attached to a community center. [614Now]
